Stacy McCormack grew up in Anne Arundel County where she attended Meade High School. She graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. She remains a big Terp fan and tries to catch as many football, basketball, lacrosse games as she can. She loves coaching and can often be found (and heard) on the sidelines of her kids’ games. She is never without her Coca-Cola and hanging out with her family.
Stacy has over a decade of litigation experience having tried District and Circuit Court cases as a Public Defender in Anne Arundel County. Before that she served as the Supervising Attorney of the Appellate Division of the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. Stacey is a judge on the Fifth Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County in Maryland. She was appointed by Republican Gov. Larry Hogan on December 18, 2015.
Stacy has been a longtime supporter of The Blue Ribbon Project
