Laura has been with The Blue Ribbon Project since December 2014. Her story with the Project begins with giving 2 foster children a tour of her firehouse and meeting our founder, Taylor, for the first time around
Christmas and they all made a permanent impression! She's been an EMT for 15 years, works in a pediatric doctors office full time and an urgent care center part time. Laura is also a part time caretaker of a wonderful young man with cerebral palsy. She takes pride in spending her "free time" volunteering with The Blue Ribbon Project and the Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department in Edgewater, MD.
